Please join me in honoring the life of my mother, Lee E. Peoples — a woman of grace, wisdom, and strength, and a passionate supporter of jazz and the arts. In tribute to her love of music, we will gather at Catalina Jazz Club, one of her favorite places.
She often spoke about my 2015 CD release concert “My Man” with Bunny Brunel’s “Invent Your Future,” featuring Patrice Rushen, calling it her favorite concert of all time. It feels only right to celebrate her here, surrounded by music.
