"When I was just a kid, I'd watch movies in the theater and rewrite the scores in my head! I knew in high school I wanted to score films."

About The Composer

Kaylene Peoples has written countless string arrangements, symphonies, a ballet, and even ghost wrote for major TV shows under a prominent Hollywood composer. She went into the direction of filmmaking so she could score her own films, garnering her several awards with her inaugural feature film REDEMPTION. You can hear some of her string arrangements on Oleander's UNWIND in the closing credits of AMERICAN PIE 2, on the Super Bowl, and more, including her string arrangements of "Always Something There to Remind Me" are on "SERENDIPITY's soundtrack. An LA Music Awards-winning Producer, Kaylene Peoples made the ballot for the Grammy's for her Akademia award-winning single "Giant Steps" from her classic jazz CD “My Man.” Kaylene Peoples is a force to be reckoned with! Most impressively is Kaylene’s charity, Bella Composers, where she puts a spotlight on female composers around the world! She curated the first female composer's competition titled the Artemis Women Powered Music competition, recognizing this practically ignored, underserved demographic!
